Also, we will be offering a new item available only from September 4th – October 31st: The Cookie with a Cause – the Pink Cookie for Breast Cancer Awareness, from Otis Spunkmeyer, Inc., which will donate a minimum of $60,000 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. As some of you might know, this is one of the café crew’s leading causes. Ann, Lisa and Seth will be joining others in Damariscotta for the Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk on October 19th. This is Ann’s and Lisa’s third year on the walk, Seth’s first. And since we are in the coffee (read “caffeine”) business, our team is known as “The Wired Walkers.” Please help us to support a worthy cause that affects us all in some way.
